Rosa Isaak was sickly in the mid 30's. When her daughter Stephanie and children left for the United States in 1938, they moved her to the home of a rabbi in Darmstadt who cared for widows. She is known to have been deported to Theriesenstadt, probably in 1940, and was seen their by Fritz Stein. She died shortly after her arrival there.
